Seongnamchoseo 'Financial Education' Passed to Busan Chamber of Commerce President
BNK Financial Group Chairman Bindaein participated in the talent donation challenge to support the stable establishment of Neulbom School.
On the 12th, Chairman Bin visited Seongnam Elementary School in Dong-gu, Busan, and provided financial education to about 20 first-grade students participating in Neulbom School.
This talent donation took place after Ahn Seongmin, Chairman of the Busan City Council and the third participant in the 'First Grade Neulbom Program Talent Donation Challenge,' nominated Chairman Bin as the next talent donor.
This challenge is conducted by having talent donors visit schools to teach students participating in Neulbom School and then nominate the next participant, aiming for smooth operation and stable establishment of Neulbom School in the region starting this year.
Together with a financial education specialist instructor, Chairman Bin engaged the participating students in various experiential activities such as 'exchanging caught fish for money,' 'purchasing items at a convenience store,' and 'going to the bank to save money.' In particular, Chairman Bin spent time teaching the students how to distinguish banknotes and calculate prices.
Chairman Bin said, “I hope this provides children with an opportunity to easily learn about economics through experience,” and added, “BNK Financial Group will do its best to ensure that the Busan-style Neulbom School, which started this year, is established early.”
Chairman Bin nominated Yang Jaesaeng, Chairman of the Busan Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as the next talent donation successor and passed the baton.
