The Special Committee on Pension Reform of the National Assembly's Public Deliberation Committee will hold its first deliberation forum on the 13th.
According to the Public Deliberation Committee, a total of four deliberation forums will be held on the 13th, 14th, 20th, and 21st, each day from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., with 500 citizen representatives participating. On the 13th, presentations and discussions will be held on topics such as 'The necessity and issues of pension reform.' On the 14th, discussions will focus on three agenda items related to parametric reform, including 'Adjustment of income replacement rate and pension insurance premium rate.' On the 20th, discussions will center on three agenda items related to structural reform, such as 'The relationship between the National Pension and the Basic Pension.'
On the 21st, a comprehensive presentation and discussion covering all agenda items will take place, and after all sessions are completed, a third survey will be conducted among the participating citizens. The Public Deliberation Committee plans to announce the main results of the citizen representatives' deliberation forums at the National Assembly on the 22nd.
