Paramedics Transported to Hospital but Pronounced Dead

Singer Park Boram (30) passed away on the 11th.
Yonhap News reported on the 12th, citing her agency JENANU Entertainment and the police, about Park Boram's death. According to the report, a 119 emergency call was received around 10 p.m. the previous day stating, "(Park Boram) went to the restroom during a gathering and did not come out; when checked, she was found collapsed." The 119 paramedics rescued Park and transported her to the hospital, but she was pronounced dead around 11 p.m. It is known that Park Boram was having a gathering with two others at a friend's house, accompanied by alcohol. There were no signs of homicide or indications of an extreme choice. The police have requested an autopsy on Park's body.
Her agency JENANU said, "All fellow artists and staff are deeply mourning the loss," and added, "We are heartbroken to deliver such sudden news to the fans who have supported Park Boram." They continued, "After consulting with the bereaved family, funeral arrangements will be made and a mourning hall will be set up," and concluded, "Once again, we express our deepest condolences on her final journey."
Park Boram gained recognition in 2010 by appearing on the Mnet audition program "Superstar K2." She officially debuted in 2014 with the song "Yeppeojyeotda," achieving the remarkable feat of ranking 19th on Melon's annual chart that same year, rising as a star singer. She continued to release several beloved songs such as "Yeppeun Saram," "Yeonyehalrae," "Neon Wae," and "Aesseuji Mayo." Especially in February of this year, her 10th debut anniversary, she released a duet with Superstar K2 winner singer Heo Gak, and on the 3rd of this month, she released a new song titled "Bogosipda Beolsseo." JENANU had previously stated at the time of the new song's release in February, "Marking her 10th anniversary this year, Park Boram is preparing a full-length album starting with this new release."
