Gangnam-gu (District Mayor Jo Seong-myeong) will participate in the '2024 World IT Show' held at COEX, Seoul from April 17 to 19, showcasing excellent smart city policies.

Now in its 16th year, this exhibition is the largest comprehensive ICT exhibition in Korea, hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and co-organized by six organizations including the Korea International Trade Association, with about 500 domestic and international companies participating.

Under the slogan "Innovation in Daily Life Created by AI," various new technologies and products in fields such as ICT convergence, digital twin & metaverse, robotics, and digital healthcare will be presented.

The district will set up a promotional booth at COEX Hall A under the theme "Gangnam, Embracing Digital," introducing digital solutions from five companies participating in Gangnam-gu's smart city demonstration projects and ESG initiatives.

The district plans to encourage participating companies to join the Mingling Zone, where they can form partnerships with other companies and institutions, attract investments, and create market opportunities, thereby contributing to the advancement of smart city policies.

Jo Seong-myeong, Mayor of Gangnam-gu, stated, "We plan to attend the largest domestic ICT exhibition held in Gangnam-gu to promote Gangnam-gu's excellent smart city policies," adding, "We will continue to collaborate with domestic and international companies and experts to solidify Gangnam's status as a global center of technological innovation."
