Psychedelic pop art artist MOLLY has signed a management service contract with CTM (CULTURE THINK, CEO Jin-gyeom Kim), an artist fulfillment service company (ARTISTS FULLFILLMENT SERVICE, hereinafter AFS).
CTM provides management services necessary for artists beyond their creative activities so that artists can focus on their creative work. It defines all creators in a broad sense as artists, not only musicians, and has expanded its services to YouTubers, magazines, and more. With the recent contract with artist MOLLY, the scope has expanded to include pop art artists as well.
MOLLY’s works are characterized by bright images, vivid pop colors, diverse objects that seem to be in a hallucinatory state, and a cute cartoon-like feel. The dazzling pieces, as if from an imaginary world, address issues of culture and society where diversity coexists, delivering a unique and witty bright visual impression along with satirical messages. Inspired by subculture and 90s cartoons, MOLLY creates a unique artistic world and conveys her imaginative stories and messages about the joy of art through her works.
Recognized for her originality in design, MOLLY has built an impressive portfolio by working on various fields such as KT Ydum Y-Suneung Festa, (G)I-DLE’s QUEENCARD promotion, main advertising illustrations for Dongkuk Steel, album art, and more. Additionally, she has consistently proven her skills by winning numerous art contests including those hosted by Hyundai Motor Company and Crocs. This year, she expanded her activities to festivals by creating the key visual for BUZZER BEAT FESTIVAL 2024 (hereinafter Buzzer Beat Festival). The Buzzer Beat Festival is Korea’s only street culture festival returning after five years, where MOLLY’s kitschy key visual designs can be seen at the festival site.
A CTM representative stated about the management contract with MOLLY, “Through professional management services, we will prioritize the personal growth of the artist to enable MOLLY to continue active activities in various fields,” and added, “We expect synergy not only through connections with more diverse businesses but also through links with existing AFS clients and businesses.”
Meanwhile, CTM provides management services to artists such as musicians Nell, BewhY, and Kid Milli, as well as lifestyle magazine channel HIP and YouTuber Nonlyacts. Furthermore, CTM organizes solo concerts for various artists including CHANGMO and Giriboy, and annually hosts the large-scale music festival RAPBEAT every September. This year marks the 10th anniversary of RAPBEAT, promising an even larger festival event.
