Global e-commerce platform Qoo10 is partnering with the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center to serve as a bridge for domestic small business owners seeking overseas markets.


On the 11th, Qoo10 announced that it will join as a partner in the 'Support Project for Small Business Owners' Entry into Overseas Shopping Malls,' promoted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center. In 2022, Qoo10 supported the entry of 50 small and medium-sized enterprises into Qoo10 Singapore. Last year, it facilitated sales for 103 companies in Southeast Asia and exceeded the target sales by 186%.

This year, as competition in the domestic e-commerce market intensifies due to direct purchases from China, many small business owners are expected to turn their attention overseas. Accordingly, the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center and Qoo10 will comprehensively support the overseas sales expansion of promising domestic small business owners.


First, Qoo10 Singapore will open constant contact points with local Southeast Asian customers and drive sales growth for participating companies through large-scale global promotions. While supporting entry into the 'K MALL,' a permanent K-brand pavilion popular on Qoo10 Singapore, products from small business owners participating in the project will also be showcased to local Singaporean customers in exclusive exhibitions organized by the Small and Medium Business Distribution Center.


In addition to targeting local consumers, practical benefits to help compete with local sellers have been strengthened. Beyond basic onboarding education and translation services, promotion costs within the Qoo10 platform and Singapore SNS marketing support will maximize product exposure to local customers. Delivery cost support will strengthen the competitive foundation against local sellers, and a dedicated one-on-one merchandise planner (MD) will be assigned to provide integrated consulting from product registration to local market trend advice and promotion operation support.
