Seo Il-jun, the People Power Party candidate for the National Assembly in Geoje-si, Gyeongnam, succeeded in his re-election on the 10th.

According to the Central Election Commission, Seo defeated Byeon Gwang-yong of the Democratic Party and Kim Beom-jun of the Reform New Party in the 22nd general election to become the district's National Assembly member.

As of 12:11 AM on the 11th, during the vote count continuing from the previous day, Seo recorded a vote share of 51.26%.

Byeon received 46.67%, and Kim received 2.05%, placing second and third in vote share, respectively.

At the same time, the vote counting rate in the Geoje-si electoral district was 99.40%.
