Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, said on the 10th after the general election exit polls were released, "The people have won." Jo demanded an apology from President Yoon Seok-yeol and said, "Report to the people on measures to correct this."

At the party's vote counting situation room set up in the National Assembly Members' Office Building, Jo confirmed the exit polls from the three major terrestrial broadcasters predicting the securing of 11 to 15 proportional representation seats, and said, "The people have clearly expressed their intention to judge the Yoon Seok-yeol administration in this general election."

He said, "Democracy must live for the livelihood economy to revive. We must make the people realize that they are the owners to take care of their lives," and added, "(The Jo Guk Innovation Party) will act faster, stronger, and more clearly."

Jo urged President Yoon, saying, "Humbly accept the results of this general election," and "Apologize to the people for the numerous mismanagements and corruptions so far."

Regarding the future course of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, he said, "The general election is over, but the political change that the Jo Guk Innovation Party will create is just beginning," and "From now on, we will show one by one how we will keep the promises made to patriotic citizens since the party's founding declaration." He also said, "I will propose the Han Dong-hoon special prosecutor law immediately after the opening of the National Assembly," and "I will carefully prepare specific policies and bills together with the Jo Guk Innovation Party lawmakers."

Jo had stated on the 12th of last month that when the 22nd National Assembly opens, he will propose the 'Han Dong-hoon Special Prosecutor Introduction Act' as the first bill to investigate the allegations of ghostwriting of papers related to Han Dong-hoon, the emergency committee chairman of the People Power Party's daughter.
