Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin District Office, visited local emergency medical institutions on the 8th to express his gratitude to the medical staff who have stayed by patients' sides without leaving the medical field despite the collective action in the medical community.

Mayor Kim visited Hyemin Hospital located in Jayang-dong, Gwangjin-gu, and gathered with Medical Director Kim Byung-kwan and the medical staff to listen to the current operation status of Hyemin Hospital and the difficulties faced by the medical staff. He then toured the general wards and other areas to check the emergency medical system.

At the meeting, Hyemin Hospital stated that all beds, including the emergency room and intensive care unit, are operating normally, but due to the prolonged medical strike, the number of transferred patients from large hospitals has increased, causing high fatigue among the medical staff.

Medical Director Kim Byung-kwan said, "Although it is a difficult situation, all employees will do their best every day to ensure that patients can use the services without inconvenience. Thank you for your encouragement."

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin District Office, said, "I deeply appreciate the hard work of the medical staff who are doing their best on the front lines despite the recent chaotic situation.
