Han Dong-hoon, Emergency Response Committee Chairman and General Election Committee Chairman of the People Power Party, continued his offensive against Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party of Korea, and Cho Guk, leader of the Innovation Party, launching a final campaign push.

On the 8th, Chairman Han visited Taejeon-dong, Gwangju-si, Gyeonggi-do, saying, "What do you think the opposition will do with 200 seats? Do you think they will only impeach the president with 200 seats?" He added, "They will amend the constitution to grant the National Assembly the power to exercise pardons, and leaders Lee and Cho will pardon their own crimes."

He continued, "Look at how these people are treating Democratic Party candidates Kim Jun-hyeok and Yang Moon-seok," saying, "They completely ignore your voices and push through." He added, "If they get 200 seats, they will claim it was with your permission and engage in many truly strange actions."

Chairman Han said, "Do you remember when Leader Lee said during the last presidential election that he would implement a total quota system for restaurant permits, but then took it back after heavy criticism?" He emphasized, "If the opposition gets 200 seats, such absurd ideas will be realized as they are." Furthermore, he said, "The 200 people they talk about now are not the same 200 from the past four years," adding, "They are a loyalist group of 200 people filled 100% with those who flatter Leaders Lee and Cho."

Chairman Han also criticized Leader Cho's social solidarity wage system. He said, "Leader Cho's idea of mobilizing the National Tax Service to cut wages is the same kind of thinking and will bring you pain," and "The problem with those people is that they are actually capable of doing what we think they wouldn't."

He then appealed, "Please protect the Republic of Korea in this historic moment," and urged, "Call your relatives, parents, and children living across the country and ask them to go out on April 10 to protect the Republic of Korea."
