Gwangju Korea Association of Housing Managers Declares Support for Park Gyuntaek, Candidate for Gwangsan-gu Gap

Seogeumseok Chairman "Park Gyuntaek Needed for Solving On-site Issues, Rich Legal Experience"

The Korea Association of Housing Managers Gwangju Metropolitan City Chapter has come out in support of Park Gyuntaek, the Democratic Party candidate for Gwangsan-gu (Gap), Gwangju Metropolitan City.

Seo Geumseok, president of the Korea Association of Housing Managers Gwangju Chapter, along with about 40 members, visited Park Gyuntaek's campaign office on the afternoon of the 4th to declare their support.

At the declaration ceremony, moderated by Yoon Bonggeun, former chairman of the Gwangju Metropolitan Council, President Seo said, "Gwangju is the city with the second highest rate of apartment supply and housing rate nationwide, following Sejong City. Gwangju plays a significant role in the advancement of apartment management, but the field of apartment management still faces poor conditions due to issues such as the need for system improvements and human rights concerns of management workers."

He continued, "Candidate Park Gyuntaek is a person with abundant legal experience capable of resolving many problems in the apartment management field," adding, "I am confident that he will greatly contribute not only to the improvement of the apartment management system but also to the enhancement of the human rights of apartment management workers."

Meanwhile, candidate Park Gyuntaek graduated from Hanam Elementary School, Songjeong Middle School, Daedong High School, and Seoul National University Law School. During his time as a prosecutor, he served as director of the Ministry of Justice's Prosecution Bureau, chief prosecutor of the Gwangju High Prosecutors' Office, and director of the Judicial Research and Training Institute. After retirement, he established the law firm 'Beommubeobin Gwangsan' in his hometown Gwangsan-gu and worked as a legal special advisor to Lee Jae-myung, leader of the Democratic Party, representing him as his lawyer.
