"Please Come Out to Early Voting Stations," Plea Made

On the afternoon of the 4th, Chairman Han said during an election campaign at Cheonho Park in Gangdong-gu, Seoul, "Starting from this election, unlike past conservative parties, all of us will cast early votes tomorrow," adding, "I will cast my early vote tomorrow in Sinchon, where Ewha Womans University and Yonsei University are located."
By casting an early vote in Sinchon, a university district, it is interpreted that he is aiming to attract votes from the 20s and 30s generations, who are identified as 'casting voters.' According to a regular public opinion poll jointly commissioned by Yonhap News Agency and Yonhap News TV to the polling firm Metrics, conducted via wireless telephone interviews with 1,000 men and women nationwide aged 18 and older on the 30th and 31st of last month, 40% of respondents aged 18-29 and 33% of those in their 30s answered that they had 'not yet decided which candidate to vote for.'
By casting an early vote near Ewha Womans University, it is also interpreted that he intends to highlight the controversy over Kim Jun-hyuk, the Democratic Party candidate for Suwon City Council, regarding his offensive remarks. Chairman Han said, "Speaking of Ewha Womans University, there is candidate Kim," and added, "Something else came to light today, there is talk about swapping. Is that something a normal person would say?" He continued, "That person should not be going to the National Assembly. He needs treatment," emphasizing, "Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party leader, has no intention of withdrawing that person's nomination because he himself is worse."
Along with the full-scale election campaign, the People Power Party is encouraging voters to participate in early voting. Chairman Han said at a press conference at the central party office in Yeouido, Seoul, on the morning of the same day, "Please come out to the early voting stations starting tomorrow," and added, "I hope that law-abiding citizens will show the momentum that they can defeat criminals, starting with early voting."
