'Wedding Impossible' Bae Yoon-kyung "Pleasant Set, Opportunity to Broaden Perspective as an Actor" Ending Thoughts

tvN's "Wedding Impossible" (written by Park Seul-gi and Oh Hye-won / directed by Kwon Young-il) concluded its final episode on the 2nd, recording an average nationwide household rating of 3.7% and a peak of 4.3% (provided by Nielsen Korea). Actor Bae Yoon-kyung shared her thoughts on the series finale.

On the 3rd, Bae Yoon-kyung expressed through her agency, Prain TPC, "Thanks to the wonderful writers, directors, staff, and fellow actors, the set was comfortable and enjoyable." She added, "I put a lot of thought into creating the character Chaewon, and thanks to that, I was able to broaden my perspective even more," showing her affection for the work.


In tvN’s "Wedding Impossible," Bae Yoon-kyung played Yoon Chaewon, CEO of Taeyang Corporation, portraying an honest, confident, and progressive character. She was praised for adding a new dynamic to the love quadrangle, amplifying the fun of the romance storyline.


In particular, her straightforward flirting created unique chemistry with Kim Do-wan (playing Lee Do-han), Moon Sang-min (playing Lee Ji-han), and Jeon Jong-seo (playing Na Ah-jung), maximizing the character’s charm. Moreover, as a 2030 wannabe CEO, her neat yet elegant styling captivated viewers’ attention.


Bae Yoon-kyung said, "I am very grateful to the viewers who supported Chaewon’s happiness all along, and I hope the show brought small joys and comfort amid their tiring daily lives." She added, "I will continue to work hard to show various sides of myself as an actor."


Bae Yoon-kyung, who first gained recognition through Channel A’s "Heart Signal" in 2017, has since showcased diverse charms in various genres, including tvN’s "Hi Bye, Mama," "(I Don’t Know Much But) It’s Family," "Record of Youth," JTBC’s "Undercover," and KBS 2TV’s "Lovers of the Red Sky."
