Inseong Information is showing strength. This is interpreted as being influenced by the government's announcement allowing non-face-to-face medical consultations at public health centers and health sub-centers nationwide.
As of 11:27 AM on the 3rd, Inseong Information is trading at 3,870 KRW, up 4.17% compared to the previous day.
Park Min-su, the 2nd Vice Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, stated at the Central Disaster and Safety Countermeasures Headquarters briefing on the doctors' collective action, “The government will actively reflect local government requests and temporarily allow non-face-to-face medical consultations at 246 public health centers and 1,341 health sub-centers starting today.”
Since February 23, the government has fully permitted non-face-to-face medical consultations at all medical institutions as part of emergency medical measures, but public health centers and health sub-centers were excluded from the eligible institutions.
With the allowance of non-face-to-face consultations at public health centers and health sub-centers, patients with mild symptoms will be able to receive counseling, diagnosis, and prescriptions through remote consultations at their local public health centers or health sub-centers. The current procedures for non-face-to-face consultations, such as sending prescriptions to pharmacies, will be applied in the same way. Doctors at public health centers and health sub-centers will also be able to manage mild and chronic patients without having to visit islands, remote areas, or distant regions directly.
Meanwhile, Inseong Information is considered a representative beneficiary stock of non-face-to-face medical consultations. In December last year, it announced the launch of the non-face-to-face medical consultation platform 'OK DOC' in cooperation with Eulji University Hospital, targeting overseas Koreans, and plans to expand its digital healthcare business.
