‘Women 100 White Empathy Politics’ Women’s Forum, Declaration of Support
A women's volunteer group inauguration ceremony was held at the election office of Jo In-cheol, the Democratic Party candidate for Gwangju Metropolitan City Seo-gu (Gap) National Assembly member.
At the inauguration ceremony of the ‘Jo In-cheol Candidate Sympathy Volunteer Group’ held on the afternoon of the 1st, 200 female members belonging to the ‘Women 100 White Sympathy Politics’ women’s forum, active in the Gwangju Seo-gu Gap area, expressed their support for candidate Jo.
The ‘Women 100 White Sympathy Politics’ members consist of women actively participating in social life such as lawyers, professors, office workers, parents, and students in the Seo-gu Gap area.
They unanimously stated, “Jo In-cheol is the right candidate to break away from incompetent politics and politics stained with corruption and to realize the value of democracy.”
They continued, “We believe that candidate Jo In-cheol, who communicates with citizens, achieves sympathy, and has the motto that changing the budget changes the world, will definitely enter the National Assembly to create a foundation for political innovation and democracy and firmly fight against immoral regimes.”
Jeong Soon-ae, chairwoman of the women’s committee, raised her voice, saying, “Let us face the current social realities faced by women directly and respond actively and proactively to stand tall as the main actors of the era and the key players in judging the regime.”
On behalf of candidate Jo, his spouse who attended emphasized, “It is time for women to step forward to realize a fair society through citizen sympathy without yielding to the times, so let us serve together and fulfill that will.”
