The Gohung Space Launch Observatory, selected as a ‘2024 Small but Attractive Potential Tourist Destination’ in February this year, is a tourist attraction with one basement floor and seven above-ground floors.

Especially, the caf? on the 7th floor is equipped with a 360-degree rotating turntable, allowing visitors to enjoy a cup of coffee while overlooking the beautiful scenery of the South Sea.

Additionally, located 17 km in a straight line over the sea from the Naro Space Center, it is also gaining attention as a place where visitors can have a panoramic view of the Nuri rocket launch.

A county official said, “If you walk along the ‘Mireumaru-gil,’ a coastal walking trail stretching 4 km to Yongbawi Rock on the left side of the Gohung Space Launch Observatory, where the dragon of the South Sea is said to have ascended, you can also encounter wildflowers gently peeking along the roadside,” adding, “We recommend it as an optimal healing course for tourists to stroll quietly and leisurely, marking a pause in life.”
