Incheon Gyeyang-eul Lee Jae-myung 51.6% vs Won Hee-ryong 40.3%

On the 31st, a poll showed that Lee Jae-myung, the Democratic Party candidate running in Gyeyang-eul, Incheon, is leading Won Hee-ryong, the People Power Party candidate, by a margin outside the margin of error.


According to a survey conducted by KSOI (Korea Society Opinion Institute) commissioned by CBS No Cut News from the 28th to 29th, targeting 503 residents aged 18 and over in Gyeyang-eul, candidate Lee Jae-myung's support rate was 51.6%, while Won Hee-ryong's was 40.3%.


The gap between the two candidates is 11.3 percentage points, which is outside the margin of error (± 4.4%p).


Regarding the nature of this general election, 47.2% responded that it is a government check theory, while 38.8% supported the government. 9.9% of respondents answered that "a third-party candidate should be elected to check both major parties."

When asked about the intention to vote for proportional representation parties, the People Power Party’s satellite party, People Power Future, led with 35.0%. This was followed by the Democratic Party’s satellite party, Together Democratic Union, at 27.4%, and the Innovation Party for the Nation at 23.8%.
