KOSHA Busan Regional Headquarters Successfully Completes Regional Education Officer Academy

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency held the '2024 Busan Area Education Officer Academy' on the 29th at the Green Hall on the 2nd floor of the Haeundae Central Hotel.

The '2024 Busan Area Education Officer Academy' is an event hosted annually by the Busan Regional Headquarters, aimed at strengthening the capabilities of employees responsible for safety and health education lectures through various programs such as special lectures by external experts, new instructor presentation contests, and demonstration lectures for education officers from regional headquarters and branches within the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam areas.

On this day, Gong Heungdu, head of the Busan Regional Headquarters, emphasized the "importance and value of education in preventing industrial accidents," and Professor An Seji of Dongmyung University delivered a special lecture on "Understanding and Coping with Stress," spreading methods for relieving and managing stress in the era of emotional labor.

A total of six participants took part in the new instructor presentation contest on the topics of the Serious Accidents Punishment Act and risk assessment, delivering demonstration lectures, and as a result of a multifaceted evaluation, they newly obtained qualifications as safety and health instructors.

After the event, Gong Heungdu stated, "Through this academy, we plan to continuously enhance the capabilities of high-quality safety and health education instructors and provide various customized training programs tailored to regional characteristics to prevent industrial accidents in the Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongnam areas."
