Kim Dong-hwan, the eldest son of Binggrae Chairman Kim Ho-yeon and the third generation of the owner family, has been promoted to president as the head of the Management Planning and Marketing Division.
President Kim graduated from Yonsei University's Underwood International College (UIC) with a degree in Economics and worked in mergers and acquisitions (M&A) at EY Hanyoung Accounting Corporation.
He joined Binggrae in 2014. Since then, he has served as manager and general manager of the Purchasing Department and was promoted to executive in January 2021.
Binggrae was separated from Hanwha Group in 1998 and has been led by Chairman Kim Ho-yeon since then.
