The Carbon Neutral Cooperation Group of Kyonggi University, the social enterprise Antenna, and Daehan Senior Holdings signed a "Business Agreement for the Improvement of Elderly Housing Welfare" on the 28th.
According to Kyonggi University on the 29th, the three organizations signed a tripartite business agreement at the Daehan Senior Holdings office located in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul, the previous day. This agreement aims to create facilities and spaces to improve the stable housing environment for the elderly, and they will jointly develop specialized senior welfare housing to ensure housing stability for the senior generation in the future.
The social enterprise Antenna operates youth housing such as "Arts Stay" in Yeongdeungpo, Seongsan, and Suyu, and plans to expand into a housing model that enables intergenerational integration by developing a new housing brand for the elderly generation in addition to the existing youth generation.
At Kyonggi University, based on the experience and network of Daehan Senior Holdings, which provides services for the elderly and carries out various elderly practice activities in the local community, content will be provided to the social enterprise Antenna.
Nataehum, CEO of Antenna, said, "There is a need for housing that aims for a new lifestyle that removes existing negative prejudices against the elderly," adding, "We expect it to develop into a representative senior housing model where the new senior generation can live more stably, receive various services, and participate in community activities."
