Daesun Joojo sponsored the 35th Busan Severely Disabled Joint Wedding Ceremony held at the Busan Citizens Hall Small Theater at 2:30 PM on the 28th.

The ‘Busan Severely Disabled Joint Wedding Ceremony’ is an event organized by the Busan Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities for severely disabled individuals who could not hold wedding ceremonies due to financial difficulties. Starting with 15 couples in 1987, a total of 210 couples have tied the knot, and Daesun Joojo has sponsored the weddings of 58 couples from 2014 to this year.

At the event, Daesun Joojo Executive Director Cha Jaeyoung received a special merit plaque, gave a congratulatory speech, and delivered sponsorship funds on behalf of CEO Jo Woohyun. Additionally, Daesun Joojo Deputy Manager Wang Jinmin received a commendation from the Busan Mayor for his efforts to improve the human rights and protect the rights of disabled people.

On this day, five couples received many blessings as they pledged their lifelong vows. Among them, the couple Cha Junghwan (66) and Yoon Myungsook (55) met in the spring of 2018 at a local welfare center for the disabled and, after nurturing a beautiful love for seven years, were able to hold their wedding ceremony.

The two said, “Through this wedding ceremony, we have been able to trust and rely on each other more and start a happy life. We are grateful to Daesun Joojo and the Busan Association of Persons with Physical Disabilities for preparing this meaningful occasion.”

Daesun Joojo CEO Jo Woohyun promised, “I hope only flowers pave the way ahead for the most beautiful couples in the world. We will continue to take the lead in improving the welfare of severely disabled people and spread positive influence in the local community.”
