Daegu's First Sujain... 'Hanyang Sujain The Felicity' Move-in Starts Today

Large Complex of 1,021 Households

Mid-sized construction company Hanyang announced on the 29th that move-in has begun for 'Daegu Hanyang Sujain The Felicity.'

Daegu Hanyang Sujain The Felicity is a large complex located in Songhyeon-dong, Dalseo-gu, Daegu, consisting of 12 buildings with 1,021 households ranging from basement 2 floors to a maximum of 24 floors above ground. The unit types are ▲68㎡A (204 households) ▲68㎡B (175 households) ▲68㎡C (66 households) ▲84㎡A (350 households) ▲84㎡B (181 households) ▲105㎡ (45 households), offering a variety from small to medium-large sizes.

Hanyang explained that this is Daegu's first 'Sujain' apartment, with great care taken in the complex's development. The buildings are arranged mainly facing south to maximize sunlight and ventilation, and parking spaces are located underground (except for some routes for emergency vehicles) to secure safe pedestrian areas free of cars on the ground level. Inside the complex, visibility and openness were enhanced by installing integrated view system windows. Some of the apartment main building side walls feature specialized designs.

The landscaping, designed and constructed by Samsung C&T Resort Division's landscaping team, is also a highlight. The concept inherits the origin of the Songhyeon-dong place name, which was once home to Solgogae and Dalbigol, a valley where the moonlight shone, and is themed as 'a landscape with Solgogae and Moonlight Yard.' In the center of Block 1, a distinctive space called Moonlight Yard was created with a plaza and ground fountain symbolizing the spreading light of the moon. In the center of Block 2, a pine forest and a rock garden reinterpreting Solgogae were placed to allow residents to enjoy oriental beauty. Additionally, a walking path lined with camellia and cornelian cherry trees was arranged on the south side of the complex to appreciate nature within the city.

The transportation conditions are considered a strength of this complex. It is located in an ultra-station area near Seobu Bus Terminal Station on Daegu Subway Line 1, allowing quick transfers-free access to major infrastructure areas in Daegu such as Banwoldang Station and Dongdaegu Station.

Moreover, the Daegu Metropolitan City New Government Complex is planned to be built about 1.5 km away from the complex, allowing residents to enjoy the lifestyle benefits of the new government complex area. There are also many green spaces nearby, including Duryu Park, Haksan Park, Songhyeon Park, and Apsan. The education environment is excellent, with schools such as Namsong Elementary, Songhyeon Girls' Middle School, Seongdang Middle School, Daeseo Middle School, Songhyeon Girls' High School, and Sangseo High School accessible for commuting.

A Hanyang official said, “Hanyang Sujain The Felicity has advantages in location and product features, but with Daegu's recent sale prices rising to about 22 million KRW per 3.3㎡, the price merit of supplying at about 16 million KRW per 3.3㎡ is expected to result in a high occupancy rate.” He added, “Currently, major Sujain complexes in other regions such as Cheonan and Hwaseong are also undergoing move-ins one after another, so based on smooth construction cost securing, we expect to continue housing projects more stably.”
