Cheonan City, Mid-term Review of 107 Public Pledge Projects in the 8th Elected Term

Cheonan City in Chungnam has begun a mid-term review to ensure the smooth progress of the 8th term elected administration's pledge projects.

From the 28th of last month to the 4th of next month, the city will hold a '8th Term Elected Administration Pledge Project Progress Report Meeting' for five days, discussing the progress reports, issues, improvement plans, and future plans with the 39 departments responsible for the pledges.

Under the city administration vision of "New Cheonan, Happy Citizens," the city is promoting a total of 107 pledge projects based on five major administrative goals.

Among these, 19 projects such as the creation of urban-type pet owner rest areas, Pungseocheon stream maintenance project, and Cheonhoji waterfront landscape improvement project have been completed, and 80 pledge projects are progressing normally.

The city plans to prepare countermeasures for pledge projects that are reviewed as needing improvement through the report meeting.

Mayor Park Sang-don said, "Please do not forget that pledge projects are an important promise to create a better life for citizens," and added, "As the halfway point of the 8th term elected administration is not far off, please actively promote the projects with a sense of urgency to achieve tangible results that citizens can feel."
