The fire department responded to a report of a fire at the gas station and transported Mr. A to the hospital. The police who arrived on the scene extinguished the fire themselves. Mr. A sustained second-degree burns over his entire body and is currently receiving treatment.

Mr. A reportedly stated that "he used marijuana handed to him by an acquaintance at the gas station." The police identified Mr. B, a man in his 30s and acquaintance of Mr. A who fled the scene by car, and arrested him urgently in Dobong-gu, Seoul. The police plan to investigate the drug procurement route and the circumstances of drug use with these individuals.
