Support up to 5 Million KRW per Company for 5 Major Manufacturing Sectors (Apparel Sewing, Machinery & Metal, Printing, Jewelry, Handmade Shoes)... Apply by April 16
Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) is launching a project to improve the working environment of small and aging manufacturing companies.
The support targets manufacturing companies in the clothing sewing, machinery and metal, printing, jewelry, and handmade shoes sectors with fewer than 10 regular employees and located within the district.
A total of 34 items will be supported, including essential safety equipment such as fire extinguishers, fire detectors, circuit breakers, and wiring boxes, as well as items to improve the working environment and productivity, such as air conditioners, ducts, circulating boilers, and LED lighting.
Selected companies will receive support of up to 5 million KRW, excluding a 10% self-payment of the total cost.
The district plans to prioritize companies that ▲ operate in underground or semi-underground workplaces with poor ventilation and constant exposure to harmful substances like mold ▲ have dust, illumination, noise, or electrical safety levels below average standards ▲ have been operating at their current business site for a long time.
