Eumseong County announced its top 10 achievements laying the foundation for the construction of Eumseong City by 2030. It is evaluated that remarkable results were achieved this year to enhance urban value and improve the quality of life for county residents.
The county explained that these valuable achievements were realized by turning the vision of Eumseong into reality through solid administrative capabilities aimed at becoming a key city in the central region, supported by active cooperation from residents, economic growth, improved living conditions, and regional development.
Despite the challenging economic situation, Eumseong County’s economic indicators have shown continuous growth, contributing to leading the Chungbuk economy. In particular, the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) has maintained the second-largest economic scale after Cheongju for eight consecutive years. Thanks to attracting companies to the advanced industrial complex and the resulting increase in corporate sales, the per capita GRDP achieved first place in the province for the first time.
Especially, investment attraction has expanded the foundational infrastructure and injected facility investment into the region, leading to job creation and increased income and consumption, thereby securing the foundation for regional development capabilities. Since the 7th elected administration, Eumseong County has achieved investment attraction of 10.6824 trillion KRW and created 15,228 jobs over five and a half years, with 1.1585 trillion KRW investment attraction and 1,390 jobs created this year alone.
Additionally, to establish growth hubs and investment attraction bases by region, eight industrial complexes are currently under development, with plans to add six more complexes. It is expected that demand for investment from high-quality companies will continue to increase in the future.
Given this situation, the attention of actual buyers is focused on branded complexes located in Eumseong County. In particular, ‘Eumseong Xi Central City,’ which offers convenient access to nearby industrial complexes, has significantly reduced the initial cost burden for newlyweds and actual buyers through drastic changes in contract conditions.
‘Eumseong Xi Central City’ will be developed with 16 buildings ranging from three basement floors to 27 above-ground floors, comprising a total of 1,505 households with exclusive areas of 59 to 116 square meters. It will feature the county’s first-ever sky lounge and three guesthouse rooms.
The community center ‘Club Xi-an’ will include a fitness center, GX room, Pilates studio, golf driving range (GDR), naturally lit sauna, a small library filled with carefully selected books tailored to residents’ tastes and trends through a partnership with Kyobo Bookstore, a reading room, multipurpose room, kids’ playground, and cafeteria.
With the Pyeongtaek-Jecheon Expressway connected to Eumseong IC and the metropolitan and regional transportation network established via the Jungbu Expressway, Chungbuk Eumseong County is highly evaluated for its future value.
A sales official said, “As Eumseong County prepares various policy directions for city promotion and has begun full-scale population inflow, interest is expected to focus on ‘Eumseong Xi Central City.’ Since the initial burden for home purchase has been greatly reduced, it will be a choice without regret.”
He added, “‘Eumseong Xi Central City’ offers various financial benefits, providing an excellent opportunity for actual buyers, investors, and newlyweds to own a home.”
