The Korea Specialty Contractors Association Gyeongnam Chapter Donates 500kg of White Rice to Changwon Special City

The Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Construction Association donated 500kg of rice to Changwon Special City, Gyeongnam, on the 27th to help neighbors in need.

The rice delivered that day was congratulatory rice received at an event of the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Construction Association and was donated to Changwon City. It is scheduled to be delivered to free meal centers within Changwon City.

Kim Jong-ju, president of the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Construction Association, said, “We are pleased to be able to share the rice we received instead of congratulatory wreaths with neighbors in need in the local community. We will continue to work together steadily to realize social value.”

Jang Geum-yong, the first deputy mayor, said, “We deeply appreciate receiving rice instead of congratulatory wreaths and practicing sharing. Since the association’s sharing is a great help to neighbors in need, please continue to show interest.”

Meanwhile, the Gyeongsangnam-do Chapter of the Korea Specialty Construction Association was established in October 1985 and carries out various social contribution activities such as city and county scholarship projects, cultural heritage explorations, repairing houses of love, and supporting local government international events.
