Believed to Be Created by Supporter, Not Cho Kuk Innovation Party
Heo Eun-ah Says "The Reality of Self-Proclaimed Savior Is Regrettable"

Heo Eun-ah, co-chair of the Reform New Party's joint election countermeasures committee, criticized election promotional materials from Jo Guk, leader of the Jo Guk Innovation Party, which seemed to mock First Lady Kim Geon-hee's Dior bag controversy on the 26th. On Facebook that day, Heo shared a Jo Guk Innovation Party promotional material featuring a photo of Jo and the phrase "Not Dior, but vote 9," criticizing, "Leader Jo is more suited for a detention center than Gucci." The phrase "vote 9" combines the number 9, which is the proportional representation party number for the Jo Guk Innovation Party, with the luxury brand "Gucci," a term coined by supporters of former Minister Jo.

Since Representative Cho wrote, "Who made this?" it is presumed that the materials were created by a supporter, not Representative Cho or the Joguk Innovation Party.

Heo stated, "While the Yoon Seok-yeol administration's autocratic and unpopular governance deserves to be judged, it is utterly deplorable that Leader Jo, who was sentenced to two years in prison in the second trial and is awaiting a final Supreme Court ruling, is presuming the roles of savior and judge." She added, "The reality that someone who should be in a detention center is brazenly roaming free, shaking the political and judicial order of the Republic of Korea, and that the freedom of Korea is being misused and trampled by criminals, evokes a serious sense of crisis and helplessness," emphasizing, "This election must become the 'Gumanri Election,' meaning not to vote for number 9."

She further said, "The reason for Leader Jo's melodramatic revenge battle is provided by the Yoon Seok-yeol regime," and stressed, "They betrayed the people’s promise to create a fair Korea, allowing the unfair Jo Guk to revive. President Yoon Seok-yeol must also deeply reflect on his responsibility and apologize to the people."

Earlier, on the 25th, Leader Jo posted on his Facebook a promotional material emphasizing the Jo Guk Innovation Party's proportional representation number while targeting First Lady Kim's Dior bag controversy. Since Jo wrote, "Who might have made this?" it is presumed that the material was created by a supporter, not by Leader Jo or the Jo Guk Innovation Party.
