Targeting 5 Major Manufacturing Industries (Clothing Sewing, Machinery Metal, Printing, Jewelry, Handmade Shoes)
Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) is recruiting participating companies for the '2024 Urban Manufacturing Industry Work Environment Improvement Support Project' until April 16.
The district will provide up to 5 million KRW per company to small businesses with poor working conditions to create a safe work environment and improve productivity.
90% of the application amount will be supported, and at least 10% must be borne by the company.
The support targets are small businesses registered in Guro-gu with fewer than 10 regular employees, and the applicable industries are ▲medical sewing ▲machinery and metal ▲printing ▲jewelry ▲handmade shoes.
The supported items include ▲10 safety-related items such as fire extinguishers and fire detectors ▲15 work environment improvement items such as air purifiers and heating/cooling devices ▲9 productivity enhancement items such as work chairs and contamination washers, totaling 34 items.
Companies wishing to apply can visit the Regional Economy Division by April 16 to submit their applications in person or by registered mail. After document screening and on-site investigation, the final selection will be made following the review by the Seoul City Subsidy Management Committee.
