Heard through an acquaintance that photos were posted in the community
When I complained to the boss, he reacted with disbelief instead
A customer who was mocked by a cafe owner after making a paper flower gift for a friend at a cafe expressed their discomfort. On the 25th, JTBC's 'Incident Room' shared a bizarre story experienced by a customer who visited a cafe in Incheon on the 5th. The informant, Mr. A, was making a paper bouquet as a birthday gift for a friend at the cafe. Considering that making the gift would take a long time, he ordered three drinks.

While diligently making the paper flowers, Mr. A was informed by an acquaintance that "your photo is posted here," and he realized that his picture had been uploaded to an online community. The owner posted Mr. A's photo on the community along with a message saying, "A perfectly handsome man came in, ordered one drink, then took something out of his bag and started making something diligently." The owner added, "Whether it's for a girlfriend or a female friend, it would have been cooler to have it delivered stylishly, but spending several hours like that in a coffee shop looks a bit pathetic."

After learning about this later, Mr. A protested. When he asked, "What did I do wrong to you? I can't just let this go. I really ordered three drinks because I felt sorry," the owner responded, "But when I said 'pathetic,' I meant it would have been cooler if you had it delivered stylishly. And although you spent hours making it with care, it also looked somewhat ridiculous."
Angered further by this, Mr. A demanded the photo be deleted, citing violation of portrait rights, but the owner instead reacted with comments like, "Are you trying to bother me? This is ridiculous." However, the day after the incident, the cafe owner deleted the post and issued an apology on the community. Nevertheless, Mr. A did not accept the owner's apology and has reported the matter to the police.
