Baedal Minjok has formed the ‘Price Stabilization Expedition Team,’ consisting of Baemin Sanghoe, Baemin Academy, and Baemin Restaurant Plaza, to support restaurant owners struggling with high food ingredient prices. Woowa Brothers, the operator of Baedal Minjok, announced that from the 26th of this month to the 25th of next month, they will open a ‘Price Stabilization Expedition Team’ page on Baemin Restaurant Plaza and carry out various events such as discount promotions, educational programs, and information content releases.

Baemin Launches 'Price Stability Expedition' Campaign for One Month

First, Baemin Sanghoe, Baemin’s comprehensive online food ingredient platform, will reduce the burden on restaurant owners by selling essential food ingredients for restaurant operations at discounted prices for one month and offering free delivery benefits on eight major items including rice. Baemin Sanghoe sells a variety of products necessary for restaurant operations, including agricultural, livestock, and marine products as well as delivery containers. By collaborating with local governments such as Goheung-gun in Jeonnam Province and the Hongcheon-Cheorwon Logistics Center, Baemin Sanghoe reduces distribution costs to sell food ingredients at prices up to 30% lower than market prices. Frozen vegetables, frequently used in restaurants, are also offered at affordable prices.

In addition to discounted food ingredient sales, Baemin introduces know-how on reducing and efficiently using food ingredients through Baemin Academy and Baemin Restaurant Plaza. On the 17th, an educational session titled ‘Cost-effective Menu Recipes Using Food Ingredients’ will be held. Also, programs such as ‘Everything About Beef and Pork Management Learned from a Meat Master’ and ‘All About Seafood Ingredient Management Taught by Star Chefs’ are prepared. Baemin Restaurant Plaza plans to provide various information including alternative ingredient analysis and food ingredient price trends.

Woowa Brothers’ COO Kwon Jae-hong said, “This is not a one-time event but a continuous effort to supply the most commonly used essential food ingredients at affordable prices and to strengthen high-quality education and content for increasing sales, aiming to help restaurant owners.”
