"Meet Burgundy Wines"... Emart Releases Record 30,000 Bottles

From the 5th to the 25th of next month

Emart announced on the 26th that it will sell popular wines from Burgundy, France, through its Emart app's smart order service, 'Wine Grab,' from the 5th to the 25th of next month. This event is the largest ever, with a total supply of 30,000 bottles prepared, featuring about 400 products from over 60 Burgundy producer brands.

During the first week of the event, from the 5th to the 11th of next month, the featured products include the great female winemaker representing Burgundy, 'Maison Leroy's' old vintage wines such as 'Maison Leroy Bourgogne Rouge 1999' and 'Maison Leroy Bourgogne Blanc 1998,' as well as 'Domaine Bernard Defaix Chablis Premier Cru Les Lys 2021,' a representative producer wine of Chablis recognized by the world-renowned wine critic Allen Meadows, and 'Domaine Bernard Defaix Bourgogne Rouge 2022.'

In the second week of the event, from the 12th to the 18th of next month, the featured products include 'Prieur? Roch's' 'Gevrey-Chambertin Premier Cru Clos des Baroilles 2020' and 'Nuits-Saint-Georges Premier Cru Corv?es 2020,' produced by the legendary winemaking family Leroy, as well as 'AB Corton Grand Cru Clos des Mar?chaudes Monopole 2019' and 'Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru 2020,' from one of the top 5 wineries in Burgundy, known as the official wine supplier to the Swedish royal family and served in Korean Air's first class. During the third week, from the 19th to the 25th, the event will focus mainly on natural wine producers' products.

Go Ara, Emart's liquor buyer, said, "Burgundy wines have a strong fan base, but the domestic distribution volume has been limited. This time, Emart has prepared the largest volume from a single Burgundy region, including rare brands," adding, "We hope not only the usual Burgundy wine enthusiasts but also new customers will take this opportunity to experience Burgundy wines."
