On the same day, President Yoon made these remarks regarding medical reform during a regular meeting with Prime Minister Han Duck-soo at the Presidential Office, according to a written briefing by Kim Soo-kyung, spokesperson for the Presidential Office.
He also ordered thorough management of the 22nd general election. President Yoon said, "Please pay careful attention to supporting the exercise of voting rights for those with mobility difficulties."
The day before, President Yoon told Prime Minister Han regarding the impending deadline for the suspension of medical residents' licenses, "Coordinate with the party to seek flexible measures." He also urged to "form a constructive consultative body with medical professionals and promote dialogue."
