Sancheong-gun, Gyeongnam announced on the 25th that the Seonbi Culture Research Institute conducted 'Anti-Corruption and Integrity Education' for new and transferred public officials.
Along with the 'On-site Sancheong Training for New and Transferred Public Officials' aimed at organizational and job adaptation, this education covered the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, and the Conflict of Interest Prevention Act.
In particular, the training focused on matters that public officials must observe, providing education centered on real cases such as corruption and workplace harassment to enhance understanding of integrity.
In addition to this training, the county plans to promote various and innovative integrity policies to spread a culture of integrity, including ▲inviting external expert lecturers for integrity education ▲operating self-study programs on integrity ▲the Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell Quiz Contest ▲and integrity practice campaigns.
County Governor Lee Seunghwa stated, “Integrity is an important value that everyone must strive for together,” and added, “We will continue education on integrity and implement various integrity policies to create a more transparent Sancheong-gun.”
