Mizuno ST-MAX 230 Driver 'No More Distance Worries'

Korea Mizuno has launched the ST (Speed Technology) MAX 230 driver. It has already been proven on tour. It is a new product that gained attention when Gray Murray (USA), the champion of the PGA Tour Sony Open in January, used it. Also, on the 10th, Bailey Tardy (USA) won the third leg of the Asian Swing, the Blue Bay LPGA, on the LPGA Tour using this club. It was her first victory since her debut last year.

The ST-MAX 230 driver’s core is the Triple MAX: MAX Moment of Inertia (MOI), MAX Stability, and MAX Speed. It employs the world’s only Coretech Chamber technology. The sweet spot on the face is positioned closer and expanded wider. It offers high forgiveness, stable ball speed, and a satisfying hitting feel.

The face uses a lighter and stronger forged Ti-LFS material. The center of the face is thicker, and the surrounding area is thinner with the Coretech Face, providing enhanced high-rebound performance. It adopts forged Ti-LFS (Light, Flexible, Strong), which is 9% stronger than the forged SAT 2041 beta titanium used in previous models.

The carbon area on the sole has been expanded by 40%, and the saved weight has been added to the back weight. This reduces air resistance and provides stability at address. Additionally, the Quick Switch allows adjustment of loft, face angle, and lie angle. It is available at official dealers nationwide. More details are available on the website.
