Under current law, motorcycles and other two-wheeled vehicles are prohibited from using highways and motor vehicle-only roads, but constitutional complaints and collective petitions have been raised.
This opinion gathering is planned to be used as basic data for institutional improvements regarding the behavior of motorcycle drivers and the allowance of motorcycles on motor vehicle-only roads.
An official from the Commission stated, “We ask for active participation in the survey so that the public’s perception of motorcycle drivers’ behavior can be confirmed, aiming to establish a safe and rational traffic system for motorcycles.”
