The Lowest Competition Rate for Grade 9 Public Service Exam Since 1992
This year, the percentage of examinees taking the national civil service Grade 9 written exam was the lowest in the past three years.

The Ministry of Personnel Management announced that out of 103,446 candidates eligible for the "2024 National Civil Service Grade 9 Written Exam" held on the 23rd, 78,422 participated, resulting in an attendance rate of 75.8%.
The attendance rate for the Grade 9 civil service written exam slightly increased from 77.1% in 2022 to 78.5% in 2023 but declined again this year.
The competition rate for the Grade 9 open recruitment is also on a downward trend. This year, the average competition rate based on application submissions was 21.8 to 1, the lowest in 32 years since 1992 (19.3 to 1).
