Gyeongbuk Development Corporation achieved a remarkable feat by ranking first nationwide with a score of 91.68 in the ‘2023 Local Public Enterprise Customer Satisfaction Survey’ conducted by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety.
This is the highest score ever obtained since the founding of Gyeongbuk Development Corporation and holds great significance as it ranked first among 15 city development corporations nationwide. Additionally, Gyeongbuk Development Corporation is the first institution in history among local public corporations to achieve the triple crown of ranking first in customer satisfaction, management evaluation, and receiving a top grade in comprehensive integrity within the same year.
The Ministry of the Interior and Safety annually evaluates customer satisfaction across 383 local public institutions nationwide. The survey involves civil petitioners and partner companies with experience working with public institutions, assessing satisfaction in five areas: service environment, service process, service outcome, social satisfaction, and overall satisfaction.
In the 2022 customer satisfaction survey, the corporation achieved a commendable second place with a score of 90.3. However, not resting on this achievement, it analyzed the previous year’s results and identified key areas for improvement. Through expanded SNS promotions and operations, increased communication meetings with local residents, talk concerts for tenants of rental apartments, and winter facility inspections for facility tenants, the corporation continuously pursued customer-centered management, ultimately achieving first place with a score of 91.7 in the 2023 customer satisfaction survey.
Lee Jae-hyuk, President of Gyeongsangbuk-do Development Corporation, stated, “Ranking first nationwide in the Ministry of the Interior and Safety’s customer satisfaction survey is a meaningful result directly evaluated by customers who have experienced our corporation, and I believe it reflects the recognition of our customer-centered management by the residents of the province.” He added, “I sincerely thank all the employees of the corporation for their hard work, and we will continue to be Gyeongbuk’s representative public enterprise that residents can feel and be satisfied with consistently.”
