Sinan Police Station Holds Dochopo Police Substation Completion Ceremony with Support from Local Residents

Following the Completion Ceremony, About 100 Residents Attend a Meeting

On the morning of the 19th, the Shinan Police Station in Jeonnam (Chief Lee Eulsin) held a completion ceremony for the Dochodo Police Substation, attended by about 100 residents including the Shinan Deputy Governor, Dochodo Township Chief, and heads of organizations and groups.

The Dochodo Police Substation, originally completed in 1986, had become outdated and lacked convenient facilities, causing significant inconvenience to residents and staff over the years.

Thanks to the support of local residents, the newly established building was newly constructed on a 1,030㎡ (312 pyeong) site with a size of 237㎡ (71 pyeong).

Lee Eulsin, Chief of the Shinan Police Station, stated, “Through the completion ceremony and the sincere security residents’ meeting, we aim to enhance the public’s understanding of police activities and improve trust. We will provide the best security services in line with the characteristics of Dochodo Township, which is rapidly transforming into a tourist area.” He added, “In particular, we will strengthen community policing activities through cooperative group participation and the village police officer system.”
