The Global Trade Expert Program (GTEP) team at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (HUFS) recently held the '2024 Academic Year HUFS GTEP 18th Term Launch Ceremony' in Room 501 of Baeknyeon Hall on the Global Campus, the university announced on the 19th.

The HUFS GTEP program is organized by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy and operated and managed by the Korea International Trade Association. It aims to cultivate trade professionals equipped with specialized knowledge through education such as △trade practice and industry-academia cooperation field training for university students △e-commerce △participation in domestic and international exhibitions △online overseas marketing practice.
The 18th term, which started in January this year, involves about 800 students who will engage in over 480 hours of trade practice, overseas regional specialization education, and participation in overseas exhibitions over 15 months until March 2025.
The GTEP team, together with its partner company AYOONMEDI, participated in the Dubai Derma 2024, the largest international skincare exhibition in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, held from the 5th to the 7th. They exhibited and sold key products such as lifting threads (KSL LIFT), Botox, fillers, and skin boosters, and also held consultations with buyers.
Following the Dubai Derma exhibition, the GTEP team plans to participate in the Italy Bologna Beauty Exhibition 2024 from the 21st to the 23rd and the Monaco AMWC (Aesthetic and Anti-aging Medicine World Congress) 2024 from the 27th to the 29th.
Baek Jae-seung, head of the GTEP team, said, "We hope that the 18th term students of the HUFS GTEP, who dream of becoming global trade experts and support the trade activities of small and medium enterprises in domestic and overseas export sites while experiencing the entire trade process firsthand, will grow into trade professionals equipped with passionate attitudes and practical knowledge to operate on the global stage."
