Gwangju University and Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency Sign Glocal University 30 MOU

On the morning of the 19th, Gwangju University signed a business agreement with the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency at the Education Innovation Support Office on the 6th floor of the administration building on campus to jointly promote the Ministry of Education's Glocal University 30 project.


On this occasion, the two organizations promised to cooperate for mutual development and regional job creation, including supporting and participating in the Glocal University 30 innovation project, ▲joint research and project operation in specialized fields through linkage of human and material resources, ▲training practical talents through the Glocal University industry-academia campus, and ▲other collaborative efforts.

Kim Dong-jin, President of Gwangju University, stated, "The development of the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, which has led Gwangju's information and communication technology and cultural content industries, and its relentless spirit of challenge aspiring to become a hub institution leading the ICT industry and startup investment, perfectly aligns with the entrepreneurial spirit pursued by Gwangju University." He added, "Let us break down all barriers and unite our efforts through close human and material exchanges and collaboration to lead the growth and development of the region."


Lee Kyung-joo, Director of the Gwangju Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency, said, "The sustainability of Gwangju's content and ICT industries lies in securing the future competitiveness of regional human resources through close cooperation between universities and institutions." He added, "I hope this agreement will serve as a foundation to cultivate regional professionals, establish a system for creating quality jobs, and build the basis for industrial growth."
