Couple Who Donated Hometown Love Fund to Hwasun-gun for Two Consecutive Years Draws Attention

A couple in Hwasun-gun, Jeollanam-do, has attracted attention by donating hometown love contributions for two consecutive years.

The main figures are Kim Jaetaek, chairman of Mujin Medical Foundation, and his spouse Lee Jeonga, director of Hyundai Senior Nursing Home.

They recently visited Hwasun-gun and donated 10 million won as hometown love contributions.

Chairman Kim Jaetaek is a native of Hwasun who graduated from Hwasun Elementary and Middle Schools. Together with his spouse, Director Lee Jeonga, they participated again this year in the hometown love donation program, showing their affection for their hometown Hwasun.

Separately, employees of Mujin Medical Foundation also donated 5.5 million won to Hwasun-gun last year as hometown love contributions.

This donation was made with each spouse contributing 5 million won, and it is planned to be used for supporting vulnerable groups, promoting culture and arts, and improving public health.

Chairman Kim Jaetaek stated, “I feel proud to be able to support the development of my hometown through the hometown love donation program,” and added, “I hope the donation will be meaningfully used for regional development and the welfare improvement of vulnerable groups.”

Director Lee Jeonga said, “While running a hospital in Hwasun, I thought about what I could do for my neighbors, and this year again, I expressed my feelings through the hometown love donation program,” and added, “I hope the hometown love donation program will serve as an opportunity to bring new vitality to Hwasun-gun.”

Gu Bokgyu, mayor of Hwasun-gun, expressed gratitude, saying, “Thank you for participating together as a couple in the hometown love donation program for two consecutive years to join in the development and change of Hwasun,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that the hometown love donations you sent become a driving force for regional development and the improvement of residents’ welfare.”

Meanwhile, Mujin Medical Foundation is a medical corporation operating Hyundai Nursing Hospital, Hyundai Funeral Hall, Integrated Cancer Treatment Center, and Hyundai Senior Nursing Home, dedicating itself to treating patients suffering from various geriatric diseases.
