Hanyang University Professor Kim Hyunjoong Appointed Editor-in-Chief of International Journal CREST

Hanyang University announced on the 19th that Professor Kim Hyunjoong of the Department of Resources and Environmental Engineering has been appointed as the Editor-in-Chief of the internationally renowned environmental journal, Critical Reviews in Environmental Science and Technology.

CREST is a journal in the field of environmental science and engineering, first published in the UK in 1970, covering a wide range of topics from basic to applied sciences. In the final interview for the Editor-in-Chief selection, Professor Kim emphasized "strengthening sustainability" as the key to the journal's development. His term will begin in March 2024 and last for three years.

Professor Kim is an expert in resource processing and utilization. In 2017, he received the "Young Scientist Award" from the American SME and has expanded his research into the recycling of waste resources and the development of eco-friendly resource recovery technologies to address climate change.
