Saeroun Mirae announced on the 19th that it has nominated a total of 32 candidates for the National Assembly constituencies in the 2nd round of candidate screening for the April 10 general election.
In the 2nd screening, lawmakers Hong Young-pyo and Seol Hoon were nominated for Incheon Bupyeong B and Gyeonggi Bucheon B, respectively. Former lawmakers Jeon Byung-heon and Yoo Seung-hee were nominated for Seoul Dongjak A and Seongbuk A, respectively.
Additionally, Im In-taek, former Gangdong District councilor, was nominated for Seoul Gangdong B, and Lee Young-joo and Chu Min-gyu, former Gyeonggi Provincial Assembly members, were nominated for Gwangju Dongnam A and Gyeonggi Hanam B, respectively.
In the earlier 1st screening, co-leaders Lee Nak-yeon and Kim Jong-min were nominated for Gwangju Gwangsan B and Sejong A, respectively. Lawmaker Park Young-soon was nominated for Daejeon Daedeok District.
Combining the results of the 1st and 2nd candidate screenings, the current nominees include 5 from Seoul, 1 from Incheon, 4 from Gwangju, 3 from Daejeon, 1 from Ulsan, 1 from Sejong, 9 from Gyeonggi, 1 from Gangwon, 1 from Chungbuk, 1 from Chungnam, 3 from Jeonbuk, 1 from Jeonnam, and 1 from Gyeongbuk.
