The Gwangju Chamber of Commerce and Industry's Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center will hold a seminar titled 'Practical Issuance of FTA Certificate of Origin for Beginners' in the company building's lecture room on the 28th.
This training aims to resolve the difficulties faced by local export companies in issuing certificates of origin and to strengthen the practical skills of the personnel in charge.
Customs broker Seohyeongseok from JS Customs Corporation will conduct an intensive 7-hour training focusing on ▲FTA concepts and utilization procedures ▲special provisions by sector for origin determination criteria ▲practical preparation of FTA certificates of origin ▲procedures for applying as a certified exporter.
Upon completion of the training, companies will receive 12 points toward certified exporter status, which greatly helps in renewing or newly acquiring certified exporter status, and the course fee is free of charge.
Lee Huijeong, head of the Gwangju FTA Trade Promotion Center, stated, “Despite the challenging export environment with increasing various forms of trade barriers, we will actively promote support projects such as various training and consulting to enable local companies to achieve sustainable growth through proactive utilization of FTAs.”
