Diversified Submission Methods Including 'Submission Boxes Installed at 16 Dong Community Centers'... Submissions Accepted Until April 19
Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) is calling for proposals for agenda items to discover public-private cooperation projects for 2025.
Anyone interested in Guro-gu can participate and propose local issues that residents and administration can plan and execute together to solve, or unique projects in Guro-gu that require resident discussion processes. However, simple civil complaints, facility installations, and petitions are excluded.
The proposed contents will first be reviewed by the relevant departments for appropriateness, followed by holding a public forum. After departmental consultations on the feasibility of project implementation, the final selection will be made. The selected proposals will be reflected in next year’s project plans.
This year, the district has diversified submission methods to broaden participation.
In addition to existing submission methods such as Naver Form, email, mail, fax, and the ‘Guro 1beonga’ section on the Guro-gu website, submission boxes have been installed at the civil service offices of 16 community centers to improve accessibility for digitally vulnerable groups who had difficulties with online submissions.
It is expected that participation rates will increase as residents can conveniently submit proposals at nearby community centers without having to visit the district office. As before, in-person submissions at the Planning and Budget Office of the district office are also possible.
The submission period is from March 27 to April 19. Although submissions can be made year-round on the ‘Guro 1beonga’ section of the Guro-gu website, proposals submitted outside the submission period will be used as agenda candidates for the next public forum.
For more details, visit the district office website or contact the Cooperation Policy Team of the Planning and Budget Office in Guro-gu.
A Guro-gu official said, “The public-private cooperation project agenda call is meaningful in that residents directly discover local issues and public and private sectors collaborate to solve them together. We hope for the active interest and participation of all residents.”
Last year, Guro-gu reflected the final selected ‘Recycling Separation Consulting Project’ from the public-private cooperation project agenda call into this year’s projects and is currently promoting it.
