TaylorMade is hosting the "4th TaylorMade Mid-Amateur Championship" to determine the strongest amateur golfer.
The first and second qualifying rounds, held on April 29 and 30 at Seongmunan Country Club in Gangwon Province, are the initial stages. The final third qualifying round will take place on June 30 at Woojeong Hills CC in Cheonan, Chungnam. Each round features 220 participants, with 40 advancing to the finals. Participants can register for multiple qualifying rounds. The finals, featuring a total of 120 players, will be held on July 29.
Eligibility requires male amateur golfers aged 25 or older with a handicap of 18 or below. During the qualifiers, players must use at least 10 TaylorMade clubs along with TaylorMade balls, hats, gloves, and apparel. In the finals, players must use 14 TaylorMade clubs, balls, gloves, hats, and apparel. The winner of the finals will receive a prize of 10 million KRW.
All qualifying participants will receive a TaylorMade stand bag, one dozen 2024 All New TP5 golf balls, a hat, gloves, and a TaylorMade apparel top. Additionally, they will receive a coupon for discounts on club purchases at the official TaylorMade online mall.
