Thorough Inspection of Facility Safety Management at Jinhae Public Stadium and Jehwangsan Monorail
Changwon Facilities Corporation in Gyeongnam announced on the 18th that it conducted a joint safety inspection with related organizations to provide a safer facility environment for tourists ahead of the 62nd Jinhae Gunhangje Festival.
Two experts from the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency participated in this safety inspection, forming an inspection team together with the corporation's safety team to inspect Jinhae Public Stadium, Jehwangsan Monorail, and Jinhae Marine Park.
The main inspection items focused on the safety of the stage equipment and spectator seats at Jinhae Public Stadium, the boarding and alighting areas of the monorail cars, as well as the safety and maintenance status of the Jinhae Marine Park's Jinhae Ship and viewing facilities.
The corporation plans to take immediate safety measures such as repairs and reinforcements for any issues identified during the inspection, and will maintain the safety management system and conduct regular inspections throughout the Gunhangje Festival period.
Director Kim Jonghae stated, “Based on this safety inspection, we will actively incorporate the expertise of professional institutions to ensure that tourists can use the facilities more safely during the Jinhae Gunhangje Festival.”
