This fire response capability enhancement training was carried out with an emphasis on minimizing damage to residents' valuable property and loss of life during fires by improving customized on-site response and efficient fire suppression tactics for pig farms, following a series of recent pig farm fires in the province.

The main training contents included ▲ efficient deployment of firefighting forces considering the characteristics of pig farms ▲ devising on-site fire spread containment plans centered on minimizing property damage ▲ early fire suppression training through securing superior firefighting water sources and concentrating firefighting forces.

Chief Ko Jeong-bae stated, “We will continue to conduct realistic drills considering the characteristics and conditions of pig farms to further strengthen fire response capabilities and do our best to protect the precious lives and property of residents from fires.”
