Ministry of Economy and Finance Launches Joint Fiscal Research with OECD

Deputy Minister Kim Yunsang of the Ministry of Economy and Finance to Hold Groundbreaking Ceremony in Paris Tomorrow

A joint research channel in the fiscal field between Korea and the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD) will be established.

According to the Ministry of Economy and Finance on the 17th, Deputy Minister Kim Yoon-sang will hold a kickoff ceremony for the 'Korea-OECD International Joint Research System' on the 18th in Paris, France, together with Ambassador Choi Sang-dae of the OECD Korea Delegation and OECD Deputy Secretary-General Yoshiki Takeuchi.

Following the kickoff ceremony, Deputy Minister Kim plans to have a meeting with Deputy Secretary-General Yoshiki of the OECD to discuss ways to strengthen cooperation for sustainable finance.

On the 19th, Deputy Minister Kim is scheduled to meet with C?dric O, head of the French National Strategy Agency, to discuss directions for efficient fiscal management.

Meanwhile, prior to his departure on the same day, Deputy Minister Kim inspected the site of the 4th phase construction project at Incheon Airport. The 4th phase construction project is expected to be completed by October.
